Why Starling Media

Starling Media is predominately all about communication. Starlings are great communicators whether it be when they are flying in formation or mimicking speech. Starlings make for very curious, smart and interactive pets. They are renowned for their ability to mimic the human voice. It has been claimed that starlings are the best talking bird and the best mimic in the world.

Mozart owned a singing Starling as a pet and notably, Shakespeare mentioned the starling in Henry IV (part I,3) where the starling was to be trained to speak.

“Nay, I will; that’s flat:
He said he would not ransom Mortimer;
Forbad my tongue to speak of Mortimer;
But I will find him when he lies asleep,

And in his ear I’ll holla ‘Mortimer!’
